Making of the bird
To make the bird we decided to use a long bamboo stick for the body and a large net for the wings which will stick on the sides of the two extra bamboo sticks, me,Shade and Hannah will make the colour of the wings out of recycled bags of all sorts of different colours and tie it on the net.

The sea shanty song 
There is also a song that i have to join in for which we must make sure it does not sound like a football chant, even though we are not MT we can still use our voice lessons on thursday and take what we learnt form that to project and articulate are words.

Handspring puppet company observations

Watching the handspring puppet company i have learned how to move more easily with the parrot and how you yourself must be involved with the character to make sure you are creating a distraction for the audience, i also learned that your eyes must be on the parrot at all times to show the audience where their eyes must be at all times. Parrot voice

Creating a parrot voice came quite easily to me as i am very good at adapting my voice to different characters that has been given to me. my costume is all black with a "hoodie" to keep the child like braking in theme, to show we are also playing a game in this story we have all created.
